Why ‘Eden Bridge’?

The name Eden Bridge is close to the heart of what this weekend is about.

Eden reminds us of beauty, simplicity, and being with God in creation. The festival is held outdoors, in the middle of the Wiltshire countryside, and we hope it feels like a breath of fresh air. A place where you can slow down, reconnect, and sense God’s nearness in the natural world around you.

Bridge is about connection - between people, churches, generations… and ultimately, between heaven and earth. Our hope is that this is a space where barriers fall and friendships form, where worship brings unity, and where we get a glimpse of the kingdom.

And it also points forward. As Christians, we live in the story of restoration - holding the joy of the Holy Spirit with us now, while also looking ahead to the day when God will dwell with His people fully and face to face, as He did in the beginning. And in gathering together, worshipping, and making space for joy, we’re preparing the way for that future. Making a path. Laying a bridge.
